Damion Brown is a Renegade. Well he's part of the Renegades.

Renegades who are opposed to Adam Rains and his Zodius.

Zodius is comprised of enhanced soldiers. Soldiers who were unknowingly injected with alien DNA in a program Gen Powell set up. These Soldiers are loyal to Adam Rains. A Rains who wants his Zodius to take over the country. Humans are considered lower class and very expendable.

Adam Rains twin brother Caleb is the leader of the Renegades. A group of enhanced soldiers and humans who are partnered with the Govt in trying to bring down Zodius.

Adam is trying to get Caleb to join him. He's issued standing orders that none of his men are ever to harm Caleb.

Adam loves his brother. In fact Caleb and his lifebond Ava and son Dorion are the only things he does love. Adam wants Caleb by his side and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Damion is currently protecting a Russian scientist who's research will help defeat Zodius.

Damion know Zodius will try to kill him or take him captive. Damion is there to prevent the Zodius soldiers from doing either one.

While observing he notices a beautiful woman. He doesn't know it but she will become an intregal part of his life. A woman who is there to kill the Russian.

So begins one damned fine read.

This one has Damion, Damions Mother and her company, Lara, Sterling, Adam Rains, Caleb Rains, Michael, Cassandra, Gen Powell, Serenity, lies, machinations and one hell of a good read.

Wonderful, exciting action book & plenty of good, loving, romance, I would recommend this to anyone who likes a little different fiction paranormal romance w plenty of excitement!!!!
This is author is absolutely brilliant. For every one of her books I have read I love her a little bit more. She never disappoints me. I know to expect excitement and intrigue and lots more with her books.
Intriguing, suspenseful and just plain hot. I've read several other books she's written can't believe this series has been out this long and never read it. I will definitely put this on my re-read list for a rainy lazy weekend
I enjoyed sterling, damion and Michael's story but I'm confused on where the rest of the series is?! Is there nothing on Adam, Caleb or dorian? Hmmm, definitely wish there was more but they are all awesome stories and well worth the money!
I didn't realize that when I got books 1-3 in the Zodius series that the genre was Paranormal Suspense, which is why it has lots action and very little romance. I prefer Paranormal Romance, with sizzling hot love scenes. You won't get this with Damion and Lara story's. Damion and Lara are together through the book but not really together. Ms. Jone's stories have to much angst in them for me. Lara is on of the first GTECH females created by the evil General Powell and has been brainwashed to believe the Renegade GTECHS such as Damion her love interest in the story are evil. Together they embark on the journey to try and restore Lara's memory loss. Toward the end of the book they finally make love and the Lifebond marks appear on Lara's neck and not until the end of the book due they complete the Lifebond process. However we get to visit old characters from the first two books, Micheal and Cassandra, Sterling and Becca, Caleb, Kelly, Emma and Chale. We get to visit old enemies too General Powell, Sabrina, Lucian and Logan. I am not sure I will continue the series. I didn't dislike the series but overall it didn't make me want more!!
Ok this book was good. I’m really glad Sabrina gets what she deserved though I was ready for a good fight between her and Lara. Can not wait to read the next one. Damion deserved to be happy. He and Lara both are a perfect match.
I really enjoyed this book like I did the others. I think I'm past the characters denying their relationship so I gave the book 5 stars. The storyline was great. I loved the characters. I'd really like to read more. I'm curious why Caleb doesn't have a book. I'm not sure if the author will write more. It seems odd though that there is no resolution to Adam or Powell. And the renegades still have Dorian so there's no resolution there either. Anyway, this series is definitely an intriguing one to read.
